Ergil Corrosion Control is awarded a major cathodic protection project in Northern Iraq.

December 20, 2009 – Istanbul, TURKEY, ERGIL Group company ERGIL Corrosion Control is one of the most experience companies in cathodic protection (CP) is awarded a major CP project in Northern Iraq by the Regional Iraqi Government.

Contract was signed in Erbil - Iraq this month during the Municipality & Construction Exhibition. Project is consisted of cathodic protection of major bridges in Northern Iraq. During the war the bridges are damaged and some collapsed, hence Regional Government has begun to repair the existing bridges as well as building new ones. “Ergil has been involving cathodic protection projects in Oil sector for a long time in Iraq, however this is the first infrastructure project that we are involved in Iraq after the war”, and adds, “ many of the bridges are in bad conditions and requires cathodic protection systems”, Mr.Mohammed M.
